We went on a scenic drive up the Kancamagus Highway in central New Hampshire to see the fall colors. It's quite famous in these parts although we'd never heard of it before. Here are some pics.
Lizzy didn't like the cold water (it was freezing, well, not literally of course).
Believe it or not this was the best picture out of like 5 we tried to get of the kids on this log. You don't want to know what the rest looked like.
2 toothless wonders sitting on a log. It's hard to tell, but they're both missing quite a few teeth.
The girls just acting cute.
Kathryn contemplating the meaning of life amongst the foliage which is symbolic of our own journey through... OK, she's probably just tired.
Anthony trying to not kill everyone within a 100 ft. radius with his "sword" (stick) of which there was an ample supply that day in the mountains.
The Matthew in his native habitat calmed down for 2 seconds that day of the documentary, luckily, our cameras were rolling during one of those seconds.
